Best Practices
- Consistency is Key: Use the same naming conventions for all your appointment types. This makes it easier to search and filter.
- Regularly Review and Update: Periodically review your appointment types to ensure they still accurately reflect your business needs. Remove outdated types.
- Utilize Filters: Use ServTrackr's filtering options to quickly find appointments based on type, date, customer, or other criteria.
- Clear Descriptions: Add a brief description to each appointment type explaining exactly what it covers. This helps customers understand the scope of the work.
- Scheduled Reminders: Set up scheduled reminders for appointments to ensure you don't miss any deadlines.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
- "I can't find my appointment type": Ensure you've selected the correct category. Check the spelling of the name.
- "Pricing is incorrect": Double-check the price you've entered. If the price is incorrect, you can edit the price directly within the appointment type.
- "My appointment types aren't showing up": Refresh the page. Check that you've saved the appointment type. If it still doesn't appear, try clearing the cache in your browser.
- "I'm having trouble with filtering": Ensure the filter options are enabled for the appointment type you're working with. Try a different filter combination.
